There in Massichesits, we had a great time! We drove up to Boston, did lots of shopping, had a huge family BBQ, and did some much needed relaxing time. It was nice not to have to worry about laundry, cleaning the house, the dogs, and it was even nice to be able to have other family holding Kaily to give my arms a rest! I thought the time change would really cause problems with her routine, but surprisingly she had no problems adjusting!
While we were there, she starting really showing interest in dangling toys, trying to grab them, even putting them in her mouth! That was the first time we'd ever noticed how interested in them she was.
Kaily must be going through a growth spurt too because she has been eating much more then usual. I almost feel like my milk can't keep up with her, but everyone says that's normal and it eventually will. I have milk stocked up in the freezer, so if any case she doesnt get enough from my breast, I have back up!Also, DUN DUN DUN.... she's getting a tooth in. It's a white, little tooth bud almost about to break through. We can see it and feel it... She must notice it too because she plays with it with her tongue.
Here are some other new things that we've noticed within the last month!!
- Smiles at anyone talking or smiling at her
- Out of her "New Born" size clothes and... moving on to "size one" diapers!
- Sleeps in her crib in her own room
- She holds her head up steady on her own all the time
- Sits up with support
- She loves to stand up by bearing weight on her legs
- She rolls over
- Lifts her chest up when she's on her tummy and supports herself on her arms
- She's talking more then ever
- Finding her feet
- Oh and she doesnt like the pacifier any more... I guess she's too into her thumb- which she's not sucking on just yet full time, only when she's bored.
Enjoy this cute video of Kaily playing with her toys!
